Mysterium Crucis CD Launch
It'll be launched on Saturday the 15th October 2011, at 6pm, in the mythic atmosphere of Coimbra Old Cathedral (Sé Velha de Coimbra, an 11th century Romanesque temple - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Cathedral_of_Coimbra), the Mysterium Crucis CD whose subject is the mystery of the Cross. It includes pieces of the gregorian repertoire of the Catholic liturgy for the Holy Week. This is a Sé Velha edition, Capela Gregoriana Psalterium performance, and a Public-Art Editora production.
The CD will be presented by Doctor Manuel Pedro Ferreira, lecturer of the Department of Musical Sciences, Faculty of Social & Human Sciences, New University of Lisbon, and researcher at CESEM-Centre for Musical Aesthetics & Sociology.

LX Gregorian Studies Week
We are glad to inform that the Lisbon Ward Centre is holding the LX Week of Gregorian Studies. This year, it will take place in Vila Nova de Gaia, from August 28th to September 4th. The program is available from this page.

Gregorian chant for the Holy Week by "Capela Gregoriana Psalterium" - Coimbra Old-Cathedral (Sé Velha) - Portugal.
"Capela Gregoriana Psalterium" recorded in February 2011 a CD at the mythic atmosphere of Coimbra Old-Cathedral (an 11th century Romanesque temple - http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Old_Cathedral_of_Coimbra). The CD, which covers the "Cross Mystery" subject, includes pieces of music of the Catholic liturgy for the Holy Week. This is a Sé Velha edition and a Public-Art Editora production, and shall be launched in Coimbra in September 2011.
